Moul Home / York County Cerebral Palsy Home, Inc. Each year, The Glatfelter Agency’s associates hold fundraisers in support of a local charity. TGA's Greenawalt Named to PA Child Abuse Prevention Panel

(November 24, 2009, York, PA) Bill Greenawalt, CIC, CRM, has been appointed as a member of the first PA Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Citizen Review Panel in the State of Pennsylvania. The Citizen Review Panel (CAPTA) will work to form policies to help boost awareness and prevent child abuse and neglect.

The CAPTA Work Group mission is to advance collaborative policies, best practices, public awareness and engagement to ensure that children are protected from abuse and neglect. The CAPTA Work Group is comprised of consumers and professionals representing areas of health, child, welfare, law, human services, and education.

Glatfelter Insurance Group Named PA/DE ESOP Company of the Year

(September 30, 2009, York, PA) Glatfelter Insurance Group (GIG) was named Company of the Year by the Pennsylvania/Delaware Chapter of the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Association. This award was presented to several of Glatfelter’s ESOP Committee members at September’s annual conference in Scranton, PA. GIG will now automatically be a nominee for the National ESOP Company of the Year award, which will be announced in May 2010.

TGA’s Greenawalt Helps Raise $15,500 for Local Non-Profit

(September 10, 2009, York, PA) The York County Children’s Advocacy Center held its First Annual Mini-Golf Marathon August 14-15, 2009 at Heritage Hills. Our very own Bill Greenawalt from The Glatfelter Agency golfed for 24 hours to help the event raise over $15,500 for the mission of the Center.

The York County Children’s Advocacy Center is a local non-profit which works to reduce the trauma of Child Abuse on the child while working to increase the efficiency of which we prosecute the perpetrators.
